Barry Gogel Voted University of Maryland School of Law’s Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year

RWL partner Barry Gogel was voted the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law’s Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year by its student body.

On April 4, 2017, the School of Law’s Student Bar Association hosted its annual election for best faculty member, adjunct faculty member, staff and student organization for the 2016-2017 school year.  In addition to Gogel being voted the Adjunct Facility Member of the Year, the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team he coaches was voted best Student Organization of the Year.  Gogel has volunteered his time as the ADR team’s coach since 2010.

Gogel has been an adjunct faculty member with the School of Law since 2012 and teaches classes in Strategic Negotiations.  He and the firm’s managing partner, Alan Rifkin, will be teaching a Sports and Law course at the School of Law beginning Spring 2018.
