Maryland Governor Hogan Announces New Capacity Restrictions and Other Measures

MARYLAND GOVERNOR LARRY HOGAN ANNOUNCES NEW CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS AND OTHER MEASURES TO HELP CONTAIN THE GROWING SURGE IN COVID-19 INFECTIONS

 Today, Governor Larry Hogan announced new capacity restrictions to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.  As with prior announcements, local jurisdictions may impose stricter requirements.  See below for a link to recent Executive Orders from the State of Maryland and select local jurisdictions.

Starting Friday, November 20th at 5:00 pm:

  • Retail, personal services, fitness centers and other indoor facilities are being reduced statewide to 50% capacity
  • Restaurants, bars and other dine in facilities must cut off dine in service at 10:00 pm, carry out and delivery is permitted beyond 10:00 pm
  • Fans will no longer be permitted at professional and collegiate sporting events
  • Hospital and nursing home visits will be strictly limited
