RWL Congratulates Partner Eric Bryant for Successfully Managing Campaign of Democratic Nominee to Congress
RWL congratulates its partner and Government Relations Division co-chair Eric Bryant for successfully managing the congressional campaign of former U.S. Representative Kweisi Mfume, who won yesterday’s special election primary to fill the seat vacated by the death of former U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings.
Over the course of just 90 days, Eric assembled and worked alongside an aggressive team of campaign professionals who propelled Mfume over 23 other candidates as the Democratic Nominee to Congress to fill the Baltimore area seat.
In his remarks last evening, Mfume thanked Eric for his work on the campaign, describing him as “the brilliant lawyer and strategist who does this important work because he cares about our communities and our nation.”
RWL Managing Partner Alan M. Rifkin added, “Eric has an unwavering commitment to service that is only rivaled by his political and legal acumen. I’ve worked with him on some of the most vexing issues in Maryland over the last 17 years and he delivers every time. There is a clear reason so many high-profile leaders turn to him for counsel. He knows his stuff. We congratulate him on this successful campaign.”
Eric is a Maryland political veteran. He joined RWL in 2003 after serving as a complex civil litigation associate at a major national law firm and deputy at the NAACP. His clients range from publicly traded companies to small businesses that operate across various sectors.
The special general election in the Maryland congressional race is April 28th with the winner going to Congress to fill the vacated seat. The Democratic nominee is the heavy favorite in this race based upon the party affiliations of registered voters is the district.
