Linda Hitt Thatcher recently joined RWL as of counsel. Ms. Thatcher is the founder and managing member of Thatcher Law Firm, LLC in Greenbelt, Maryland. Ms. Thatcher’s practice includes all aspects of employment law, including corporate counseling, EEO training, and litigation on behalf of employers and employees. She served as co-counsel with the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs in employment discrimination cases and has served as a faculty member for the NITA Trial Advocacy Skills Program at Georgetown University Law Center. Since 2007, Ms. Thatcher has consistently been selected as a Top Employment Lawyer by Washingtonian Magazine.
Ms. Thatcher is a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference, a past President of the Board of Governors of the Federal Bar Association of Maryland, and an active member in the Women’s Bar Associations of both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Ms. Thatcher received her J.D. from St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio, Texas, where she served as associate editor of Law Review. She received her B.A. in Government from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.
